Catch the reading bug this summer

As summer approaches, we at the Wabash Carnegie Public Library invite you to come join us at the Library for some summer fun, particularly for children and teens. From June 2 to July 30, the Library's Summer Reading Program will be in session. The theme is Catching the Reading Bug. There are various activities for youth of all ages planned and we hope you join us. A number of special guests will be joining us including the Spoon Man, Dr. Insecta, and live animals from the Fort Wayne Zoo. For our young adults, there will be a Summer Smoothie Party and a Murder Mystery. Please check our website or stop by for further information.

Although summer is starting and activities are geared toward the outdoors, we invite you to continue to stop by the library and check out items for your reading pleasure. On a beautiful sunny day, what better than to be outside reading a good book whether it be a mystery, suspense, etc. Are you taking a trip? We have books on tape or CD to check out for those drives in the car. Regardless of your plans, we at the Wabash Carnegie Public Library want to help make it the best summer possible.

Have a great and safe summer!
